The Founder and Chief Trainer of Kovan Learning Centre (established since 1997), is an award-winning education entrepreneur with more than 20 years of pedagogical experience in mathematics and science subjects. Mr Alan, an NIE-trained educator with several years of teaching experience, heads the research and curriculum arm of Kovan LC. Under his supervision, Kovan LC’s research team has developed technology-based teaching resources to boost students’ academic performance.

Mr K. Balakumaran, Managing Director at Kovan Learning Centre & Founder of Thinkers Learning Centre (Academic Coaching and Training Centre for students and parents). Mr Bala holds a BSc(Mathematics) degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS), ACTA Certificate for Adult Training and is a Neuro Schema Algebra Trainer with more than 10 years of experience working with educators and training institutions, organising and managing academic and training programmes at different scales.

A Psychologist with Clinical Endorsement working with children, adolescents, families, couples and individuals in private practice. She is the Director of Princi Consulting and The Institute for Neuroscience and Education and the Brain Smart 4 Learning Program. Ms Rita provides Brain-Based Education training to clinicians, educators and parents, and seminars and workshops on the Neuroscience of Stress to medical, legal and general business domains.

Mr KL Victor has more than 20 years of experience in developing, motivating and mentoring youth and young adults in various roles and capacities. He is currently a senior lecturer in a tertiary institution and has successfully helped as many students graduate and achieve positive results. He conducts his classes in a lively and humorous manner, thereby creating a conducive environment for knowledge transfer and experiential learning.
